What is a Veluba Tour?
A Veluba cab is a safe and unique eco-transport to experience London Landmarks. We have partnered with Vox City to bring you multilingual commentary of points of interest on your tour.
What languages are offered from the Vox City commentary?
You can select from English, French, German, Italian, Chinese and Spanish. You are able to select your preferred language when booking your tour.
Do I have to cycle the Veluba?
No. Your trained Veluba driver will operate the Veluba and safely guide you on your tour.
How fast does the Veluba travel?
We cruise through London at 7-8mph to maintain a smooth ride for all our guests.
How many passengers can fit in a Veluba cab?
Each Veluba accommodates up to 2 adult sized passengers.
There are more than 2 passengers in our party, will our tours start at the same time?
Yes, but please check availability at the time of booking.
Is this tour suitable for a family with children?
Yes this is a child friendly tour but each passenger will need their own seat, so for a family of 4, we suggest booking 2 Veluba.
Is there a combined maximum weight limit?
Veluba are pedal-powered, electrically assisted cabs, so due to the 'human power' nature of a Veluba we have a maximum weight of 200kg.
Inclement weather
Our tours go ahead in all weather conditions. Every Veluba has detachable doors and we monitor the British weather each day to decide whether to 'door or not to door!'
Late arrivals
Our tour drivers will be at the departure point just before your tour start time. They will wait for up to 10 minutes for late arrivals but after this time the tour will be deemed as cancelled. The driver and office will attempt to make contact with you throughout this time. It is the discretion of the Veluba management to allow you to reschedule.
What if I have to change or cancel my booked Veluba Tour?
Please see our cancellation policy.
Is Veluba Covid secure?
Your Veluba driver is separated from you by way of a Perspex partition. Each Veluba can carry 2 passengers, so you will only be with your chosen companion or on your own. After each tour the Veluba cabs are cleaned and disinfected.
Do you offer NHS discount?
Yes we do offer NHS discount, please show your Blue Light Card to your driver at the beginning of your tour.
